From day to day, the Provincial Library of Bangka Belitung Province continues to make various innovations to raise reading interest and literacy culture for the people of Bangka Belitung. Starting from March 1, 2020, the service is open for public every day.

The Agency Of Archive and Library of Bangka Belitung province has a program called a mobile library. This program is visiting schools in the area of Bangka Island. On February 11, 2020, a mobile library and team are visiting State Elementary School 1 Sungai Selan, Central Bangka Regency. Their visiting are warmly welcoming by the teachers and students. At this trip, there are 176 visitors who are very enthusiastic about the arrival of the mobile library service. Hopefully, this service can provide a new atmosphere around schools area and stimulate the school party to always make their library better.  Generally, this service can ease the people of Bangka Belitung in utilizing the function of the library.
